How is the disease transmitted? Birds and humans become infected when they have contact with contaminated saliva, nasal secretions, and feces of infected birds. |

What are the signs in poultry?
Mild form - ruffled feathers, decrease egg production.
Severe form – swelling of comb/ wattles, nasal discharge, respiratory disease, diarreha, fever and death. |
